44% of US kids are allergic to milk. How about yours?

Dr. Weeks’ Comment:    Of course, most blacks and Asians are lactose intolerant to the numbers are actually much higher.   Take a 2 week break from ALL dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, cream)  and note the following:   1) weight loss  2) more energy  3) sinus congestion and post nasal drip gone, 4) less snoring, better sleeping, 5) less gastric IBS-like irritation … and the list goes on.   See  https://weeksmd.com/?p=3900 and  check out  www.notmilk.com for great scientific support for stopping dairy.

The 2011 Formula for Gastric Distress

How many formula-fed kids produce antibodies to bovine proteins?

Nathaniel Mead, M.D., addressed that question in the
July, 1994 issue of Natural Health, writing:

“At least 50% of all children in the United States are
allergic to cow’s milk, many undiagnosed. Dairy products
are the leading cause of food allergy, often revealed by
diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue. Many cases of asthma
and sinus infections are reported to be relieved and even
eliminated by cutting out dairy.”

One month after Dr. Mead’s article appeared, the peer-
reviewed journal Pediatric-Allergy-Immunology reported:

“Most formula fed infants developed symptoms of allergic
rejection to cow milk proteins before one month of age. About
50-70 percent experienced rashes or other skin symptoms, 50-60
percent gastrointestinal symptoms, and 20-30 percent respiratory
symptoms. The recommended therapy is to avoid cow’s milk.”

Which brings us to 2011…

The February issue of the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology
and Nutrition (2011 Feb;52(2):166-9) reports:

Age 1 is more often than not, the magic number at which
mothers wean their children from the breast or cow’s milk
formula to dairy products. Cheese, yogurt, milk, sour
cream, cream cheese, pizza, macaroni and cheese…so consider
this appropriate quotation from one of my favorite actors:

“When kids hit one year old, it’s like hanging out with a
miniature drunk. You have to hold onto them. They bump into
things. They laugh and cry. They urinate. They vomit.”
