Dr. Weeks’ Comment: the three stages of revolution of an idea are well described by Arthur Shopenhauer: first ridicule, the violent opposition and finally it is accepted as being self-evident. I yearn for the old days (did they ever actually exist??) when reporters actually did research, thought deeply and wrote a reasoned and often courageous expose and their editors / publishers resisted corporate advertisers and published the truth. Unlike what we read below…

Macomb Daily: When he was hit with a series of questions at the Birmingham GOP event by chemtrails-true believers in the audience, the Milford Republican initially said the theory lacked proof.
Then, he backpedaled and said he will hold a hearing in his district on the so-called issue, according to a video recording of the event.
The chemtrail theory, for those of you who don’t speak crazy, asserts that some nefarious force (the government, the Trilaterial Commission, the Bildeberger Group, the communists, the bankers, corporate interests, or possibly all of them together) have spiked jet plane contrails–airplane exhaust, in lay terms–with chemicals designed to do, well, something. And it’s bad.
Scientists have thoroughly and repeatedly debunked this theory, (Note from Dr. Weeks: SEE this for a refutation of this ignorant assertion and here is why) but it persists because maybe all the scientists are part of the conspiracy. Of course, they are.
Chemtrails, like FEMA is building concentration camps, vaccines cause autism, juice boxes make you gay, and 9/11 was a government plot, is one of those paranoid claims that can be believed only if you’re an idiot. Apparently idiots have become (like teachers or small business people) a politically viable force, so it seems like they’ll get their own special hearing courtesy of U.S. taxpayers.

To quote the mayor of Lantzville, Jack De Jong: “These are tough letters for council to handle. Mr. Vander Zalm’s resolution probably won’t be discussed in future council meetings.”
I ask you Mr. De Jong, why not? To quote you again: “You suppose sometimes conspiracy theories turn out to be true.”
Who told you it is a conspiracy theory? It is time to wake up and look up.
Chemtrails are a fact of life. I have watched jets leaving chemtrails in our skies for over 15 years. To quote you again: “If the information is there, let the higher levels of government release it.”
The information is there and the government won’t release it. Mr. Vander Zalm is right to question what is going on and so should you.
