Dr. Weeks’ Comment: The fellow in the cell phone ad early on would ask “Can you hear me now?” and I stole that line for a number of early posts where I pleased with people to hear that cell phones cause cancer. HERE HERE HERE That question “Can you hear me now?” has been replaced by the title of this post “You should be listening now.” because brain cancer is now the leading childhood cancer killer – and all the evidence points to cell phones. Yes we all recall the tobacco executives feigning ignorance that nicotine is addictive and lying when they testified that their companies did NOT target youth, and we listened to the CDC lie and falsify data about vaccinations HERE and HERE. So now we need to line up the usual suspects – Big Telecommunication execs and clarify their role in killing kids. But parents – wise up! Teach your kids to NOT put the cell phone to their head (even the manual says never have the cell phone closer than 5/8th of an inch to the body) – Buy them a safe device to plug into their cell phone or encourage them to only text.
