The safest way to use your dangerous cell phone

What follows below are the most recent links estabishing beyond a reasonable doubt that cell phones are giving people (especially kids) cancer.

People are not going to quit using cell phones so I strongly recommend the following ways to reduce your risk of cell-phone induced brain cancer:

1)  turn phone off and only turn it on occasionally to check messages

2)  once you hear your messages, only return the urgent ones by cell phone since… (get this fact clear please!) ….  the cell phone emits the highest radiation to your brain when it is transmitting (i.e.  when you are speaking) not when you are listening when it is not transmitting but simple receiving.  Return the other calls from your landline at home (unless, of course, you are still using a portable DECT phone at home which is even more dangerous – search this site www.weeksmd.com for “DEC” or “DECT” phones) .

3) keep you phone off (see 1 above) when you are not using it, but if you still insist on keeping it on, keep it away from your body. In the car, for example, keep it on the dashboard where it doesn’t have to work hard to find a signal.

4) Another reason to keep your phone off when you are not using it…  it emits highest radiation when it is seeking to optimize its reception by searching for the closest or strongest cell phone tower..  that means, when you move more than 100 feet, it automatically wonders if it should still be using its current cell phone tower and it sprays out a huge transmission seeking to learn if there is a better tower for it given its new location. Imagine all the radiation your innocent looking cell phone emits in a car where it sprays out a request to optimize transmission every 100 feet… 0r approximately every second if you are driving at 50 miles an hour.  That is a lot of radiation going into you!
