Dr. Weeks’ Comment: I was notified this morning of the creation of a new journal on cancer STEM cells! It is welcome news indeed since the very existence of cancer STEM cells has been vigorously denied by conventional oncologists whose stock and trade (and considerable income) depends upon cancer STEM cells not existing. Why? Because if cancer STEM cells exist and are the cause of cancer metastasis and therefore the only really lethal aspect of cancer, it make all chemo and radiation not only counter productive but criminal – assault with a deadly weapon – since, according to cancer STEM cell researcher Prof. Max Wicha, “chemotherapy and radiation make your cancer worse” I have lectured on this topic on 3 continents and the emergence now of our own journal The Journal of Cancer Stem Cell Research is gratifying indeed!
