Autism is inflammatory

Dr. Weeks’ Comment: Autism, like all psychiatric ailments, is driven by inflammation. My colleague Bob Davidson reads carefully and deeply and discovered this new published article which reminds us… “…catechol O-methyl transferases and S-adenosyl methionine may not function adequately in inflammatory tissue states…”

So give your child the anti-inflammatory diet and start with the powerful anti-inflammatory nutrient dense organic seed drinks SOUL and CORE.

Gender predilection in Autism

Do we know from where the gender inequality arises in autism? Surely it’s not something as simple as two XX crhomosomes versus just one. I share these links on “catechol estrogen” to stimulate discussion.Phase I and phase II metabolism are likely implicated. Of note, catechol O-methyl transferases and S-adenosyl methionine may not function adequately in inflammatory tissue states.

The Dawling 2001 paper was not behind a “paywall”. Yippee. Open Access rocks.

Best Wishes, Bob D.
