A great medicine stigmatized

Dr. Weeks’ Comment: There has been a lot of confusion about the health benefits of using the marijuana (cannabis) plant in a manner which does not make the patient high, but simply enhances health.

For years, I had a negative opinion about medical marijuana since I had seen so many young people use marijuana to try and escape the challenges of life resulting in apathy, lack of will power to set and achieve goals and tragically loose the opportunity to reach their potential.

That waste of humanity is consequent to using marijuana to get high and avoid life challenges.

I am not recommending that you use marijuana for that purpose.

I am recommending that you inform yourself about the health benefits of marijuana and then talk with your doctor about treatment options.

Note : THC (the strain “Sativa” has a lot of this) is what gets people high, CBD (the strain “Indica” has a lot of this) is what is immune enhancing.
